Learning through Play
Learning through play
Play helps young children to learn and develop through doing and talking, which research has shown to be the means by which young children learn to think. We have planned a timetable that will provide a range of activities, which will help your child to make progress in each of the areas of learning and development. Some of these activities will allow for free flow play and some more structured allowing teachers to take the lead in helping the children to take part in the activity.
We follow the updated (September 2014) Early Years Foundation stage curriculum. The EYFS determines that there are seven areas of learning and development in Early Years settings.
